Blame Freud

In a darkly comedic twist of family dynamics and psychology, Paolo Genovese's 2014 film "Blame Freud" subverts the traditional psychoanalytic relationship between father and daughter. As psychologist Francesco navigates his relationships with three daughters who just happen to be his own children - one struggling with her sexuality, another smitten with a much older man, and the youngest closed off from love altogether - he finds himself grappling with the impossible task of analyzing their desires while confronting his own conflicted feelings about them.
