Name Me Lawand

The film "Name Me Lawand" (2022) follows Lawand as he navigates his new life in Derby, England, after a traumatic year of seeking asylum through Europe. With the help of some surgical implants and care from those around him, Lawand begins to realize that he is anything but "B-A-D". This young Kurdish boy's journey to an eventual sense of satisfaction and contentment is marked by his struggles to adapt to his new surroundings.
