The Last Shark

James Franciscus as Peter Benton attempts to save hundreds of swimmers in a coastal resort after a large great white shark starts terrorizing the area and eating tourists. Horror author Peter Benton (James Franciscus) and professional shark hunter Ron Hamer realize the truth, but ambitious mayor William Wells (Joshua Sinclair) refuses to accept that a shark threat exists, fearing it will derail his campaign for state governor. The shark wreaks havoc on Port Harbor, killing tourists and causing chaos before Benton and Hamer team up with Jenny Benton's friends to stop it in a series of gruesome and violent confrontations.
