Snails in the Rain

In 1989 Tel Aviv, a handsome linguistics student, Boaz, receives anonymous male love letters that undermine his sexual identity and threaten his stable relationship with his girlfriend Noa. As he becomes consumed by his suppressed attraction towards men, Boaz begins to feel that he is an object of sexual desire everywhere he goes. The film is a poignant exploration of the challenges faced by those struggling with their sexual identity in a time when LGBTQ+ rights were not widely accepted.
