Bloodthirsty Butchers

In 1970, director Andy Milligan brings the infamous tale of Sweeney Todd to life in this horror-thriller. Character John Miranda stars as the titular barber, who joins forces with baker Jane Hilary's character, Maggie Lovett, and Tobias Ragg (Berwick Kaler), a shop employee, to commit brutal murders, abducting customers from the barber shop to be baked into meat pies sold to the public. The film's dark, gruesome tale is set against the backdrop of London, with Michael Cox playing Jarvis Williams in this adaptation of the notorious story.
