Kazablan

In the vibrant and tumultuous Israeli port of Jaffa, a young gang leader named Kazablan navigates love, identity, and community in this adaptation of a popular Israeli stage musical. With his Moroccan Sephardic roots and tough exterior, he faces prejudice from Yanush, a middle-aged Ashkenazi shoe store owner who feels entitled to marry Rachel, the beautiful young woman he's had his sights on. As Kazablan struggles to clear his name after being accused of stealing funds to save their crumbling homes, the neighborhood is thrown into chaos, and romance blossoms between Kazablan and Rachel amidst the tension.
