The Hit

Dr. Shuki Heftziba (Shaike Levi) is a ballroom dancing instructor who tries to find a new wife for his friend Zigi Fuchsman (Yisrael Poliakov), an auto mechanic and childhood friend, after Fuchsman's widow becomes available. Character Ben-Gurion Shemesh (Gavri Banai), a grease monkey with singing ambitions, also seeks to win the heart of Dina (Ofra Haza), Zigi's daughter. Heftziba trains Shemesh in show business and inadvertently turns him into an opera singer, leading to unexpected success and stardom for all three main characters.
