Ben-Hur

A 2016 epic historical drama film directed by Timur Bekmambetov, based on Lew Wallace's 1880 novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ, and starring Jack Huston as Judah Ben-Hur, a young Jewish prince falsely accused of treason, who spends five years in slavery before seeking vengeance against his best friend and adoptive brother, Messala. The film follows Ben-Hur's journey from his capture to his ultimate redemption through a series of encounters with Jesus Christ and the chariot race that changes everything.
