Artemisia

The film "Artemisia" is a 1997 biographical drama that tells the story of Artemisia Gentileschi, a young Italian painter who exhibits artistic talent and faces numerous challenges in a male-dominated world. With the guidance and protection of her father, Orazio Gentileschi, Artemisia seeks tutelage from Agostino Tassi, with whom she falls in love and begins having sexual relations.
