Super Fantozzi

Paolo Villaggio plays Ugo Fantozzi in a surreal historical journey from Genesis to the 1980s, where he is portrayed as man created by God after failing his first attempt. He struggles through various eras and encounters, including the Stone Age, Ancient Greece, New Testament, Middle Ages, French Revolution, Unification of Italy, and World War I, often in comedic misadventures with his wife Pina (Liù Bosisio) and colleague Filini (Gigi Reder). The film takes a science fiction-esque approach to its future sequence.
