The Consul

The 1989 film "Konsul" follows Czesław Wiśniak (Piotr Fronczewski), a con-man who, after being released from prison, orchestrates increasingly elaborate schemes involving local politicians and government officials, all while maintaining his cover as various personas, including a doctor, a brother of a Biura Politycznego member, and a diplomat.
