Fun in Acapulco

In "Fun in Acapulco", Elvis Presley stars as Mike Windgren, a former circus performer who becomes a lifeguard and singer at a local hotel in Mexico. After getting fired by the hotel owner's bratty daughter, Janie Harkins (Teri Hope), Mike finds new work with the help of a Mexican boy named Raoul (Larry Domasin). Tensions rise when Mike clashes with a rival lifeguard, who is also the champion diver of Mexico, played by Paul Lukas. As Mike navigates his new job and confronts his past, he must overcome his fear of heights and perform a death-defying dive off 136-foot cliffs to win respect from the rival lifeguard.
