In this quirky comedy, gifted pianist Claire Goldstein navigates a chaotic life after her boyfriend breaks up and she misses out on an important piano competition. Forced to move back home with her parents, Claire must contend with her eccentric family members, a well-meaning but meddling teacher, and a new romantic prospect. With its offbeat humor and lighthearted tone, Playing Mona Lisa offers a charming, if imperfect, viewing experience.
