Trade of Innocents

In present-day Cambodia, a filthy cinder block room serves as a stark backdrop for Alex Becker (Dermot Mulroney), a human trafficking investigator, and his wife Claire (Mira Sorvino), who is struggling to cope with the loss of their child years earlier while working at an aftercare shelter for rescued girls. As they become more deeply entrenched in the lives of these young women, whose freedom and dignity are threatened, they must confront the harsh realities of child sex trafficking and find a way to overcome their own personal demons.
