Vasilisa the Beautiful

In the 1940 Soviet film "Vasilisa the Beautiful," Ivanushka (Sergey Stolyarov) sets out on a journey to rescue his childhood sweetheart, Vasilisa (Valentina Sorogozhskaya), who was cursed by a magical serpent and transformed into a frog. With the help of a blacksmith and the friendship of forest bears, Ivan overcomes various obstacles, including an enchanted bear and a treacherous river, to reach the heart of the dragon's lair. Ultimately, Ivan defeats the three-headed dragon and frees Vasilisa from her curse, allowing them to return home together.
