In a poignant and powerful encounter, eight decades after their paths diverged in Auschwitz, Hans-Jürgen Höss, the son of the infamous concentration camp commander Rudolf Höss, meets Anita Lasker-Wallfisch, a survivor who endured unimaginable horrors within its walls. This intimate and historic meeting takes place in Höss's own family home, now a private living room where Höss's descendants – including his children Kai and Maya – have gathered with Lasker-Wallfisch's son Maya.
