Chloë Grace Moretz plays Carrie White, a shy and telekinetic teenage girl who is bullied at school and oppressed by her deeply religious mother, Margaret White (Julianne Moore). As Carrie researches her powers and exacts revenge upon her fellow prom-nighters, Director Kimberly Peirce updates the 1976 cult horror classic with modern sensibilities. After a night of violence and destruction, Carrie becomes a shadow of her former self, taking measures to protect those she cares about while struggling to come to terms with her own dark past.
