The Miracle of the Sargasso Sea

In the small town of Missolonghi, Western Greece, two women's solitary lives intersect when a circle of violence erupts in their community. Elisabeth, a troubled police chief struggling to connect with her son, crosses paths with Rita, a lonely eel-hatchery worker, whose religious visions and bloody nightmares begin to resurface. As secrets long hidden in the swamps start to surface, the two women must confront their own suppressors in a lethal confrontation that exposes the dark underbelly of their town.
