Starve Acre

A couple, Richard (Matt Smith) and Jules, return to her late father's remote farm on the moors after having a child who starts acting strangely. The young son's behavior worsens, leading Jules into a kind of trance-like state as she watches an eerie mist settle over the farmyard. As the situation spirals out of control, Richard uncovers his father's journal detailing a supposed entrance to the spirit world and begins an archaeological dig in an attempt to understand what is happening.
