Lovely & Amazing

The film follows four women in their lives as they struggle with personal insecurities and relationships. Catherine Keener plays Michelle Marks, whose husband's infidelity affects her life after she gets into a relationship with a 17-year-old man, leading to trouble with the law. Brenda Blethyn stars as Jane Marks, who undergoes liposuction but develops complications, forcing her to confront what will happen to her adopted daughter Annie. Emily Mortimer plays Elizabeth Marks, an aspiring actress struggling to find success and confidence in herself, particularly after a harsh encounter with Kevin McCabe, a heartthrob she auditions for a role alongside. Meanwhile, Raven Goodwin portrays Annie Marks, who faces challenges adjusting to life with her white family while trying to connect with her African American heritage through her "Black Big Sister" volunteer Lorraine.
