Man Made Monster

In 1941, Lon Chaney Jr. made his horror film debut in "Man Made Monster", a sci-fi thriller directed by George Waggner that explores the darker side of human experimentation. When a bus hits a high power line, killing all on board except for one man who survives due to his immunity to electricity, he's taken in by a mad scientist who seeks to harness his unique condition to create an army of electrobiologically-driven zombies. With Chaney Jr.'s performance as "Dynamo Dan" the Electric Man at its core, this low-budget horror film from Universal Pictures proved instrumental for the young actor's career and has since become a cult classic.
