"A Chinese Torture Chamber Story" is a 1994 Hong Kong black comedy film about a corrupt magistrate who subjects an innocent young bride to inconceivable physical punishments after convicting her of killing her husband. The tragic case revolves around Ge Xiaoda's death and the accused wife, Xiao Baicai, whose history with Yang Naiwu, a Juren and her lover, is revealed through Governor Liu Xitong's torture. Yvonne Yung stars as Siu-bak-choi (Little Cabbage), the innocent young bride at the center of this tragic story.
