A couple's adulterous affair results in an unexpected pregnancy, leading to a birth defect for their daughter Katelyn, who is born with only one fully developed arm. Despite her father's initial struggle with faith and punishment, Katelyn defies the odds with an incredible gift for softball. Amanda Verkamp plays Salena Pavey, Katelyn's mother.
