National Anthem

A 21-year-old construction worker in rural New Mexico joins a community of queer ranchers and rodeo performers to find his own version of the American dream. He is welcomed by all, but finds himself attracted to "Sky", who is in an open relationship with Pepe, played by Rene Rosado. As Dylan becomes more involved with the group, he faces challenges related to his past and his feelings for Sky, which include a heart-wrenching moment when Sky's horse is injured during a storm. Ultimately, Dylan finds a sense of belonging and hope for the future with this community, particularly with Sky, who gifts him a belt buckle after a memorable rodeo performance.
