No Highway in the Sky

James Stewart plays Theodore Honey, the eccentric and brilliant aeronautical engineer who predicts a deadly design flaw in his employer's new aircraft. After discovering himself on a plane that has already logged 1422 hours of flight time, despite its intended service limit of 500 hours, Honey takes drastic action to stop the flight by wrecking it, but this act puts him at odds with those who want to discredit his theory and save the reputation of British passenger aviation.
