The Eyes of My Mother

Francisca, played by Kika Magalhães, is a young woman who grows up in an isolated farmhouse with her father after her mother's tragic death at the hands of an intruder. As she navigates her lonely life, Francisca develops a fascination with human eyes, which becomes an integral part of her twisted desires and eventual descent into darkness. The film follows Francisca as she takes in a young woman named Kimiko and later raises Antonio as her own son after killing his mother, leading to a haunting exploration of loneliness, trauma, and the darker aspects of human nature.
