The film "Courier X" (2016) is based on a true story and centers around Udo Kier as Nathan Vogel, a surreptitious smuggler. A CIA operative, played by James C. Burns, recruits Vogel to help cover up the Nicaraguan blackmail attempt on the CIA that was exposed in the book "Dark Alliance" by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Gary Webb.
