Passengers

Two passengers on an interstellar spacecraft carrying thousands of people to a colony on a 120-year journey from Earth are awakened 90 years early from their suspended hibernation. Aurora Lane (Jennifer Lawrence), a beautiful young woman, is revived by Jim Preston (Chris Pratt), a mechanical engineer who has been stranded on the ship for nearly a century after an asteroid collision damages the vessel's systems, causing a malfunction that awakens him prematurely. As they try to survive and navigate their new situation, they must confront the ethics of punishment, penance, and rehabilitation between them, with no society or judicial system to handle their crime against each other.
