Us, Our Pets and the War is a 2024 documentary film that tells the story of the relationship between people and their animals during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, highlighting the efforts of citizens to rescue abandoned pets amidst violence and war. The film showcases extraordinary rescue efforts to bring animals to safety, including cats, dogs, bears, lions, and other exotic pets, and features stories of people who saved the lives of their beloved companions. Through the lens of this heartwarming story, the film is a tribute to the human spirit in the face of adversity. The Ukrainian premiere will take place on April 4, 2024, and the international version has been acquired by PBS for its "Nature" documentary project.
