Lesní vrah

The 2024 Czech crime drama "Lesní vrah" closely observes one year in the life of Viktor Kalivoda, a serial killer who murdered three random strollers he chanced upon in the forests of Czechia in 2005. Based on real events, the film follows Kalivoda's arrest and confession, although he never revealed his motive for the killings. Michal Balcar stars as the titular character, bringing to life the enigmatic figure whose actions have become infamous in Czech history.
