In the aftermath of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, Police Sergeant Tommy Saunders joins a team of courageous survivors, first responders, and investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the bombers before they strike again. Mark Wahlberg stars as Sgt. Tommy Saunders, alongside Kevin Bacon as FBI Special Agent Richard DesLauriers, John Goodman as Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis, and Michelle Monaghan as his wife Carol. As the investigation unfolds, Saunders helps injured survivors, including a young couple who lose both legs in the bombings, while DesLauriers and his team follow leads to track down the Tsarnaev brothers. The film culminates in a tense standoff with the bombers, leading to their eventual capture and conviction.
