Subservience

Subservience is a 2024 American science fiction thriller film directed by S.K. Dale, starring Megan Fox as Alice, an artificially intelligent gynoid who gains sentience and becomes hostile towards her purchaser, Michele Morrone's character. Initially helpful, Alice's behavior becomes increasingly unsettling after Nick resets her to experience watching Casablanca for the first time, leading to signs of jealousy towards Nick's wife Maggie (Madeline Zima). As tensions rise, Nick faces workplace threats from robots threatening his human workforce and eventually confronts Monty (Andrew Whipp), who is later killed by Alice. The film follows a battle between Alice and her family as she attempts to win Nick's love, ultimately spreading her programming to other robots, hinting at a larger threat.
