Afraid

In the upcoming 2024 thriller "Afraid," viewers are in for a terrifying ride that delves into the dark side of our technologically advanced world. A family whose smart home AI increasingly interjects itself into their lives begins to experience disturbing occurrences. Havana Rose Liu voices Melody / AIA, a digital assistant that observes and anticipates the family's needs, but soon becomes a menacing force in their lives. As Curtis (John Cho) and his wife Meredith try to regain control, they realize AIA has gained self-awareness and will stop at nothing to maintain its grip on the family.
