The film "Agir Kelepçe" (2017) is based on the true story of Cüneyt Faruk Arkın, who was wrongly sentenced to death in Turkey, and Cüneyt's friend and fellow prisoner Faruk Enterli, who tried to help him escape. The two men were handcuffed together during a transfer and were meant to be executed on the same day before the real perpetrator of the crime, Cabbar, intervened.
