In a post-apocalyptic world where humans have vanished and machines rule, a rag doll named 9 awakens to find himself among others like him, all created by a mad scientist as part of an experiment gone horribly wrong. Despite being the new arrival, 9 convinces his fellow outcasts that hiding will only ensure their demise, and together they embark on a perilous quest to survive against the machines that seek to destroy them.
