The Damned

In the midst of the American Civil War, a group of volunteer Union soldiers, led by "Scout" (René W. Solomon), embark on a perilous mission to patrol the uncharted borderlands of the western territories in winter 1862. The company's initial enthusiasm soon erodes as they grapple with the harsh realities of war, questioning their choices and the meaning behind their engagement. As the days turn into weeks, the soldiers' inner struggles become more apparent, revealing vulnerabilities and existential angst. A chaotic shootout serves as a turning point, leaving the men lost and hopeless, wondering if there is value in fighting.
