The Mad Doctor of Market Street

In this low-budget horror film, a mad scientist named Benson uses his regeneration experiments to resurrect human subjects and gain influence over an island's native population. Stranded on a tropical island after a shipwreck, Benson convinces the chief that he is a god by bringing back his apparently dead wife from suspended animation, setting him up for further involuntary experiments on fellow survivors.
