Hellboy: The Crooked Man

In 1959, B.P.R.D. senior agent Hellboy and rookie Bobbie Jo Song are escorting a train carrying a mystical spider entity back to Bureau headquarters when they're forced to abandon it in rural Appalachia after it suddenly enlarges to monstrous proportions. Stranded, Hellboy and Bobbie Jo encounter Tom Ferrell, a war veteran haunted by his past, who's recently returned to atone for sins. As they wait for the demonic familiar to return with Cora Fisher, a local witch, Hellboy discovers that he has a personal connection to the supernatural entity known as the Crooked Man, who's terrorizing the community and preying on their souls.
