The Attacks of 26/11

Before a committee investigating the 2008 Mumbai Attacks, Rakesh Maria recounts the execution of the attacks, the police response, and the interrogation of the sole surviving perpetrator, Ajmal Kasab. On November 22, ten young Lashkar-e-Taiba militants hijack an Indian fishing vessel in international waters, killing the crew, and reach the coast of Mumbai via inflatable speedboats on the evening of November 26. The militants divide into pairs, targeting high-profile locations across South Mumbai, including the CSMT, Leopold Cafe, the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, and Nariman House, leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake. As Kasab is captured alive, Maria leads his interrogation, confronting him with the reality of his actions and the ideology that drove him to commit such atrocities.
