Black Daruma

An unemployed man buys a Japanese 'luck doll' to improve his fortunes, but his life unravels in disturbing ways, as captured through the warped perspective of the doll in this dark-humoured psychological horror film. The story is presented in a found footage format, leaving audiences questioning whether the doll or the protagonist's deteriorating mental state are causing the chaos. Richard Galloway stars as Ryan, an unemployed man whose life spirals out of control after purchasing the ominous object.
