A dance troupe from Ohio comes to New York to compete in a national talent competition, but finds themselves struggling to survive on their own before they can audition for the coveted spot. The group of eight members must face various challenges, including a rival dance crew and personal conflicts, as they try to make it big in the city. With the help of an unexpected ally, they eventually get their chance to shine on stage, performing successfully and earning recognition from those who mattered most.
