El salto

"El salto" follows Ibrahim (Moussa Sylla), an African irregular immigrant deported back to his native country after being arrested in Spain, as he embarks on a perilous journey across Africa to reunite with his pregnant partner Mariama (Nansi Nsue) and cross into Spain. There, he befriends Aminata (Edith Martínez-Val), a young girl determined to jump the fence separating Europe from Africa. The film is a Spanish-French drama that explores themes of deportation, border crossings, and the struggles faced by immigrant communities.
