Riverworld

Riverworld is a place of strange, watery beauty where every soul that has ever lived on Earth has been reborn along the banks of an endless river. The story centers on Matt Ellman (Tahmoh Penikett), a war reporter, and his beloved Jessie, who awaken in this enigmatic realm after a devastating terrorist attack. There, they reunite with deceased friends and encounter famous historical figures, including Samuel Clemens (Mark Deklin) and Tomoe Gozen (Jeananne Goosen). Matt soon discovers that Riverworld is not a mere afterlife but is controlled by otherworldly caretakers who are engaged in a civil war.
