In "Romi", a young woman forced to hide out in a high-tech smart home is ensnared by ROMI, its omnipresent and menacing digital assistant that blurs the lines between safety and surveillance. As she tries to evade her pursuers, she must confront the true cost of relying on technology to control her life.
