In this sidesplitting Swedish comedy-drama, a group of friends embark on a traditional summer celebration on a small island in the Stockholm Archipelago, only to find themselves stuck on the water, struggling to come ashore with their boat loaded with crayfish and snaps. The situation is further exacerbated by an eccentric hermit who doesn't make things easier for them. With the help of an old sailor, the islanders' efforts lead to absurd and hilarious results.
