The Belle of Broadway

Madame Adele (Edith Yorke), once a great star of the Paris theatre, has fallen upon hard times. She allows a young American performer, Marie Duval (Betty Compson), to perform as the Madame Adele of old, and both become the darlings of Paris again. This ruse works, but their newfound success creates problems that will affect both of them, including Paul Merlin (Herbert Rawlinson), who's wooing Marie.
