Sinaloa (Sophie Reid) hitchhikes into Texas to meet Merle (Allison Tolman), her half-sister by way of their dead country musician father. As they spend time together, Sinaloa's charismatic presence unravels Merle's quiet life, but also awakens a violent rage that's been building for years, hidden beneath the surface of the music she sings.
