Daphna (Tali Sharon), a dedicated police detective in her 40s, is transferred to Afula after her high-profile cases in Tel Aviv lead to personal pressure about getting married and having kids. In this small town, she investigates the disappearance of Orly Elimeleh (Anastasia Fein), a young army widow and former beauty queen, whose husband's family appears unconcerned by her fate. Matan (Idan Amedi), Orly's son, shares Daphna's concerns about Orly's whereabouts, leading him to step beyond his professional boundaries and trust Daphna, who must confront her own faith in herself and those around her.
