My Cousin Vinny

Two carefree New York college students are mistakenly arrested and charged with murder while traveling through rural Alabama, leading them to call on their inexperienced lawyer cousin, Vinny Gambini, a former auto mechanic from Brooklyn who has just passed his bar exam after his sixth try. As Vinny arrives in town with his hot fiancée, he clashes with the small-town Southern townspeople and must navigate a complex courtroom case to prove his clients' innocence. With the help of his clever and feisty girlfriend, Mona Lisa Vito, Vinny uses his wit and knowledge of Southern cuisine to outsmart the prosecution and secure a surprise acquittal for his clients.
