MacArthur

In this 1977 biographical war film, General Douglas MacArthur is portrayed as a four-star American general who rises to prominence in the far east theatre of operations during World War II. The film follows MacArthur's life from 1942, before the Battle of Bataan, to 1952, after he had been removed from his Korean War command by President Harry Truman for insubordination, recounted in flashback as MacArthur visits West Point in 1962.
